Hip Hop Dance |
This workshop is designed teach basics of hip hop to beginners and others that may like to expand on a variety of styles and moves, or to get some great exercise! The class starts with a deep stretch to enhance flexibility and movements during the class. It will continue with instruction on rhythm and musicality, following with a warm up which focuses on freestyle movements. You will learn fun and high energy choreography, as well as some relaxed R&B movements. To finish up the workshop, we'll have a cool down session of stretching to prevent soreness and tightening. You will get a great workout, so bring water and wear something comfortable! Whether you are a first timer or a regular attendee, each class will leave you with a sense of accomplishment & empowerment!
HIP HOP DANCE: Beginners
This class caters to beginners and those looking to come back and refine their dance moves. You will get exposed to an original dance style that will build your dance repertoire with confidence, as well as build your cardio, flexibility, strength and coordination. Get ready to have an amazing workout and to shake your groove thing!
Class Breakdown: Exciting and fun cardio warm up that will get you in to the groove, along with stretching, sit-ups and push-ups. The warm up will get your whole body toned and ready for some exciting hip hop dance combinations.If you attend regularly, don't worry because each class will bring new and exciting hip hop combinations. The pace is energetic and the class is pumped. The emphasis is on having fun and feeling good, while dancing hard and getting a great workout.
HIP HOP DANCE: Intermediate This class is a fusion of high energy hip hop and jazz that will challenge and advance your dance skills. You will be inspired with the most upcoming hip hop & street jazz moves, which integrate jumps, turns & foot work, exposing you to a fresh, original dance style. This is the ultimate workout: it will improve your flexibility, balance & strength. Be prepared to sweat!
Class Breakdown: The cardio warm up is similar to the beginners class. What is different is the hip hop combinations are faster paced and more challenging. Darylle has a unique style of hip hop & street jazz that will broaden your dance repertoire, and give you an explosive workout!
