First Degree Reiki

Reiki I is the First Degree in the Universal Reiki System of Natural Healing and is a 2-day seminar which involves meditation sessions to fully establish a foundation of the practice. Participants receive 4 attunements (2 each day) to the Reiki energy and the ability to channel this energy cannot be learned by reading any manuals, but is only transferred to the student by a Reiki Master Teacher during the sacred ritual of the attunement process.

We will learn during these 2 days the practices of self-healing treatments and facilitating healing for others.

The atmosphere for the seminar is given in a relaxed meditative state so that participants have the opportunity to give as well as receive healing on current issues, as well as emotional links to dis-ease. The art of meditation is also introduced.

All participants must attain full attendance for both days before a certificate is issued. Upon completion, participants receive a Certificate in Reiki I First Degree and a comprehensive manual outlining the procedures and techniques covered in the seminar.

There are no pre-requisites except that all participants come with a positive and open mind.

All workshops are small, with a maximum of only 12 per workshop. This is a hands-on workshop so participants will be paired, working and sharing with one another.

- What is Reiki and its effects
- Methods of centering and personal boundaries
- Art and forms of meditation
- Self-healing procedures
- Healing others and Group healing procedures
- Energy work and the Human Energy Field
- Auras, energy centres and colour therapy
