Originally established as a chain of salons in Italy, Dominelli International College of Esthetics claimed high success in the European market. During this period of time, Mrs. Rita Dominelli set out to introduce her beauty spas to British Columbia. She soon observed a significant lack of well-trained, competent estheticians within BC's industry. As a result, Mrs Dominelli joined a number of professional associations to address and propose solutions towards "raising the bar". Her network and reputation grew to the point of eventually being contracted by reputable schools in Vancouver to provide advanced training in esthetics and cosmetology. In 1979, Mrs Dominelli established Dominelli International College of Esthetics in Coquitlam, BC.
Today, Dominelli International College is spaciously located in Burnaby, British Columbia. The college, supported by administrative staff, instructors and committed students, continues to thrive today. Dominelli's comprehensive esthetic diploma programs continue to incorporate and deliver the highest level of esthetics training available.
