Maria Pillon | Director of Education
Maria Pillon has a passion for the esthetics industry and with over 30 years of experience as an educator, she is the force behind Dominelli College and is instrumental in the development of the core curriculum. She is kept busy with making sure that the education standards are maintained and with her warm smile and open-door policy she is always available for students to share their dreams, goals and concerns on a daily basis. As a mother of two, she is a wonderful mentor to all the staff and students.
Gulroz Zaver | Esthetics Instructor
Gulroz Zaver is a certified CIDESCO Instructor and gives students an invaluable perspective on Spa Ownership and operation. With her calm and quiet smile, she is always ready with a word of advice, a smart marketing idea or a new and innovative technique in dealing with a problem. As she builds on the competencies of students, she adds to the confidence building of each student long after they have graduated. Her business sense coupled with her training as an esthetician make Gulroz an invaluable asset to the Dominelli Faculty.
Cindy Cummings| Esthetics Instructor
Cindy Cummings is a certified CIDESCO Esthetician and is a proud graduate of Dominelli International College of Esthetics. After graduating in 2006, Cindy joined the resort town Arania Day Spa in Kelowna, BC. Having gained full insights into the operation of a spa, she then decided to share her knowledge and joined an esthetic school as an instructor where she delivered esthetic curriculum to future estheticians. Her passion for the industry coupled with her intuitive ability to respond to the needs of the esthetics industry, gives her the winning edge when delivering the Dominelli education standards. As a long time resident on the West Coast, she is an avid Yoga enthusiast and believes in the total wellness and being of each person. Dominelli is proud to have another graduate on board as a contributing Esthetics Instructor.
Dale Kobialko | Workshops Manager
Dale Kobialko is a veteran of the esthetics and wellness industry. With years of experience as a massage therapist, he organizes and manages the Dominelli Advanced Professional Workshops and Seminars in healing, massage and beauty. Dale is kept busy developing curriculum and always has new ideas for additional therapeutic workshops up his sleeves.
Crystal Hallock | Customer Care Officer
Crystal Hallock is the sweet voice of Dominelli as she welcomes Students, Staff, Clients and Visitors to the Dominelli experience. Her multi-tasking abilities extend to service bookings, database management, display creation and behind the scenes beauty skincare product management. Dominelli is proud to have Crystal join the team as she is a graduate of the College and the perfect professional who understands all the clients needs with an indepth knowledge of a trained CIDESCO esthetician.
Billie Ahmed | Student Liaison
Billie Ahmed’s eye for detail and excellent organizational ability keeps the Students Services department running smoothly and efficiently. From couselling students to organizing practicum’s and work placements, her students know her to be a fair and straightforward person who is always willing to go the extra mile for them. She is instrumental in setting up the special company events, career shows, trade events and networking with education partners across British Columbia
Elke Baines | Accounts Controller
Elke Baines with her efficiency and ability to lend a hand with every facet of the company’s operation make her the go-to person for all issues concerning the accounting and financial operations. With her competent computer skills, she is there to problem solve any concerns. Her cheerful smile and easy going personality is a ray of happiness on even the wettest day.
