Application Requirements for Admission
We require a formal interview as part of the Admissions Process.
In preperation for registration phase please assemble the following items:
Admission Requirements:

Completion of the pre-application form.

70% or above on the Entry Placement Test.

Completion of an oral assessment if English is not the applicant's language.

Demonstration of written communication skills.
-
Minimum of 19 years of age, or completion of grade 12 equivalent.

Certificate of good health and a TB X-Ray clearance report (we can provide you with these forms to bring to your doctor).
The following items must be presented at the time of registration:

Official Grade 12 High School Transcript or GED.

Official Transcript of Post Secondary Studies (if applicable.)

Proof of Age - Birth Certificate - photocopy will be taken.

One Piece of Photo ID (Driver's Licence or Passport.)

Social Insurance card - photocopy will be taken.

Recommended Characteristics:
The ability to be successful in the field of esthetics depends on one's own personal attributes as well as the inner desire to succeed and progress sin a competitive field through dedication, training, practice and hard work. You will thus be required to pursue your training, at a level expected of you when you are employed.
Effective communication, striving for customer satisfaction and the desire for esthetic innovation are imperative to the successful development of a professional esthetician in the beauty industry.
Due to the nature of esthetics and beauty therapy, students entering such programs need to be in good health comfortable giving, and receiving esthetic and body care services. A successful applicant will have proficient eye coordination, manual dexterity, in addition to colour vision, depth perception and the ability to distinguish line and form.
