Frequently Asked Questions About Our Programs
Training at Dominelli requires discipline, organization and commitment. Applicants must demonstrate seriousness of purpose in relation to the study of esthetics, provide two letters of reference, complete a placement test prior to acceptance and meet with the Program advisor for a personal interview. (See admission requirements).
We require a formal interview (either in person or on the phone) as part of the Admissions Process.
In preperation for registration phase please assemble the following items:
Admission Requirements:

70% or above on the Entry Placement Test.

Completion of an oral assessment if English is not the applicant's language.

Demonstration of written communication skills.

Minimum of 19 years of age, or completion of grade 12 equivalent.

Certificate of good health and a TB X-Ray clearance report (we can provide you with these forms to bring to your doctor).
The following items must be presented at the time of registration:

Official Grade 12 High School Transcript or GED.

Official Transcript of Post Secondary Studies (if applicable.)

Proof of Age - Birth Certificate - photocopy will be taken.

ability to be successful in the field of esthetics depends on one's own
personal attributes as well as the inner desire to succeed and progress
sin a competitive field through dedication, training, practice and hard
work. You will thus be required to pursue your training, at a level expected of you when you are employed.

How is the curriculum structured?
Comprehensive, intense theoretical and practical training as well as advanced professional workshops ensures “Job Readiness” for Dominelli graduates and continued competence for esthetic professionals. The courses are delivered in “modules” providing focused education and are thorough, complete and not of an ‘introductory’ level. No further training is required following successful completion of our programs or individual training modules. The curriculum includes the highest level of clinical knowledge and technical skill development available within the industry. Dominelli College offers an educational setting that promotes and supports teamwork and leadership skills. Students receive thorough and regular practical experience through providing daily services to external clients with personal, one-on-one supervision by skilled instructors.
Will Dominelli help with tuition funding?
Dominelli assists with all aspects of research and entry requirements for government agency sponsored students. This funding includes BCSAP (BC Student Assistance Program), Government tuition grants, Dominelli scholarships and bursaries and private and bank loans for education. Dominelli is also pleased to offer its students easy no interest payment plans.
