EXAMINATION INFORMATION
DOMINELLI CIDESCO PROGRAM
You can increase your earning power by increasing your knowledge base and thus the services you can offer your clients to meet the their special needs in such areas as:
1. Microdermabrasion
2. Ultrasound Treatment
3. High Frequency and Galvanic Electrical Treatment
4. Skin and BodyAnalysis and treatment of problem skin
5. Corrective Specialty Make Up and advance waxing procedures
LICENSED ESTHETICIANS
And, if you are an esthetician and wish to take your earning power up several notches, become a C.I.D.E.S.C.O Diplomat, this certification is recognized in 36 countries.
The Dominelli’s C.I.D.E.S.C.O. Diplomat will have been certified in one of two ways:
1. Completed 1820 hours of training in the C.I.D.E.S.C.O. program,then passing the examination, both written and practical and completing 600 hours working as a licensed esthetician.
2. Or, as a licensed esthetician who has worked in the field for 3 years, you may challenge and take the examination with preparation. He/she must be certified in Massage Therapy and be trained in manicure/pedicure.
We offer a 40 hour preparation course for the licensed esthetician who qualifies under No. 2 above.
CIDESCO EXAMINATION
On completion of our 1820 hour CIDESCO course, students take the CIDESCO Examination which consists of:
* A facial examination * A body examination * An additional subject
* A written examination
Exams are conducted by a CIDESCO examiner who is sent by CIDESCO
PROJECT (THESIS)
Candidates are also required to write a project of at least 4000 words on a subject relevant to the study of Beauty Therapy. The purpose of the project is to give candidates the opportunity to use their knowledge, ability and creativeness.
DIPLOMA
The prestigious CIDESCO Diploma is awarded to candidates who have passed the CIDESCO examinations and given proof of having gained at least 600 hours work experience in a beauty center/salon/spa.

* Eyelash and eyebrow tinting · Eyebrow shaping
* Deep cleansing * Electrical equipment
* Facial massage * Mask treatment
* Make-up, full day make-up * Manicure/Pedicure in natural form
BODY EXAMINATION
* Body analysis * Electrical Equipment
* Manual massage to show the five classical movements
* Depilation - waxing with hot/hard and strip wax
ADDITIONAL SUBJECTS
This subject can be chosen from a range of Beauty Therapy subjects such as:
Other electives include: Shiatsu, Aromatherapy, Essential Oils, Camouflage Make Up, Aromatherapy, micro-current treatments, deep tissue massage, microdermabrasion, nail extensions .
WRITTEN EXAMINATION
This exam consists of multiple choice questions (MCQ) from all parts of the CIDESCO Theoretical Training Program, this must be CIDESCO SYLLABUS.

CIDESCO PREPARATORY CLASSES & EXAMINATION DAYS 2009
Due date for CIDESCO exam registration is March 31st of each calendar year.
CIDESCO preparatory classes and examinations are held once a year, during the last week of July.
CIDESCO EXAMINATION SCHEDULE: A certified CIDESCO Examiner travels to Dominelli College from abroad once a year to conduct the CIDESCO Diploma Examination.
