Typically, ‘normal’ skin is firm, because the supporting connective tissue and muscle fibres are dense, solid and stable. The skin is supple and resilient thanks to the numerous elastic fibres that are in excellent condition. The fat layer is neither too thick, nor too thin and is perfect. This skin appears "dense", overall the complexion is matte - it secretes just enough sebum. The texture of the skin is itself very fine. There are no visible "pores" and it is very smooth. The basal layer is biologically active, providing constant renovation of the skin cells. In fair-haired people, this skin will appear almost transparent. The blood circulation is active (rosy cheeks) and the colouring is even.
